The Mauritius Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (MBJJF) is the national governing body of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu a non-profit organisation registered in 2011 with the vision of uniting the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu community around the island to work together under one governing rules promoting unity, fair play, social integration and to better develop Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in all aspects; competitive in its traditional form as well as adapted divisions and develop social programs for the betterment of the sport and humanity.
The Federation is committed to becoming an active member of the national and international sport community in an effort to promote sports for all and reinforce the importance and power of sport as a tool for unity, human connection, positive and healthier lifestyles, social inclusion, fair play, world peace, brotherhood, and friendship.
As a non-Olympic recognised sport, many of the MBJJF projects are self-funded through our membership, events and sponsors. As a non-profit organisation, the MBJJF is always looking for new sponsors and partners to assist with the growth and development of our sport as well as implementations of new projects.
